If you have less frequent needs, I can assist on an hourly basis, billed to 15-minute intervals.

This includes installing and updating plugins, fixing problems, removing malware and more. Basically, just ask. For these needs, please contact me via email.

Note that installing new themes usually requires much more work and may mean a complete overhaul of the site; in this case I suggest you check out my web design package.

What if you didn't create my site? Can you still work with me?

Most definitely. I often work with sites developed by other developers or designers, and it isn’t an issue. My first priority is a backup of your current setup, then making updates and edits that respect the integrity of your current site. In other words… you’re in good hands.

Where are your backups? How often do they occur?

Backups, both of the database and files, are on a daily basis. I usually set them to run in the middle of the night, and they are stored off-site on Dropbox. Generally the last 15 days are kept.

If you need other accommodations, just note it when purchasing a plan, or send me an email!

How will I pay?

Payment is through Paypal, which accepts debit or credit cards, and even bank accounts. You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay.

Can I get a discount?

Sure! I offer 10% off for 6 months and 20% off for 12 month packages. It will show up at checkout.

Am I locked in to a contract?

No! I have 6- and 12-month discount packages, but you can cancel at any time and I will refund the remaining months. This refund does not include the month you cancelled within.

Can I change my plan?

Yes! Your services and billing will change in the following month.

Long Grove, IL, a suburb of Chicago.

Is this 24-hour support?

Sorry! My hours are 9 am-5pm CST, Monday-Friday, though I still answer urgent requests on weekends.

What do you do if I am hacked?

I remediate the problem using techniques I’ve developed over the years, working with WordPress sites. Backups are taken and the site is returned to the last version that was not compromised, and the site is secured. If this is not possible, I still clean the site of malware and other hacking tools and secure the site again.

What if I have multiple sites?

I’m happy to work up a discounted price for you. Just email me.

Who the heck are you?

Lisa Ghisolf of Gizmo Creative Factory, Inc., a design & WordPress studio in Chicagoland. I’ve been in business since 2003, and a WordPress designer and developer since 2008. I started offering maintenance services to clients a couple years ago but created this site to better explain and formalize my services.

What else do you do?

You just had to ask. Print & digital design, but also WordPress development and optimization. I speak on WordPress and other design topics often and train on WordPress.
